Crawler Mobile Crushing and Screen Plant

Crawler Mobile Crushing and Screen Plant

The MST-Y440RS is our compact diesel-powered tracked short-head cone crusher. It weighs 52 tons, with a capacity of 100–350 t/h. Equipped with a CC440 short-head crushing unit and a 250 kW crushing motor, it accepts a maximum feed size of 140 mm. It is specially designed for hard rock fine crushing: it processes 20–80 mm material from secondary crushing and turns it into 5–20 mm premium aggregates.

Description
Ⅰ. Have you ever encountered these headaches?
Let our Crawler mobile crushing and screen plant help you.

You want premium prices for the material from secondary crushing, yet an extra fine crushing stage is always tricky. The feed size runs around 100+ mm. A standard secondary cone cannot produce a fine closed side setting, resulting in coarse end products. Installing a short-head cone carries risks of blockage from oversized feed. Impact crushers are uneconomical for fine crushing, as blow bars require frequent replacement.
We have served numerous premium aggregate production lines. The final fine crushing stage does not demand the same high throughput as secondary crushing, but strict particle shape requirements apply. Flakiness index must be controlled; otherwise, concrete batching plants will purchase your material at discounted substandard rates, creating a substantial price gap. For hard rock fine reduction, conventional impact crushers cannot meet the challenge. Short-head cone crushers feature a long parallel crushing zone and produce well-graded cubical aggregates, which is the right solution.

Ⅱ. What is this crawler mobile crushing and screen for?
The MST-Y440RS is our compact diesel-powered tracked short-head cone crusher. It weighs 52 tons, with a capacity of 100–350 t/h. Equipped with a CC440 short-head crushing unit and a 250 kW crushing motor, it accepts a maximum feed size of 140 mm. It is specially designed for hard rock fine crushing: it processes 20–80 mm material from secondary crushing and turns it into 5–20 mm premium aggregates.

Ⅲ. Why choose us: Eight core advantages

- Long parallel crushing zone of short-head chamber. Closed side setting can be adjusted down to 10–20 mm, producing 5–20 mm premium cubical aggregates accepted by batching plants at top market prices.
- Flakiness index reduced from roughly 30% of secondary crushed feed to around 10%. No rework for particle shaping, significantly lowering rejection rates.
- Maximum feed size 140 mm. Designed to work after secondary cone or impact crushers for fine crushing, avoiding bowl blockage from oversized feed.
- Total weight 52 tons, more compact than large models. Ideal for small aggregate lines and mobile crushing stations; no need to invest in a large machine only for fine crushing, cutting unnecessary costs.
- Thick high manganese-chromium alloy liners. Heavy wear is expected in fine crushing applications. Premium wear parts are adopted, delivering longer service life than liners on ordinary short-head cones.
- Hydraulic adjustable closed side setting with cavity clearing function. One-click reverse rotation to clear blockages. Fitted with water spray dust suppression and remote control operation. Full advanced features retained on this compact unit.
- Tracked self-propelled design for easy site transfer. The standalone short-head fine crusher moves freely between job sites, flexible and cost-effective.
Ⅳ. More about MST
We operate a large digital manufacturing base, certified as a National High-Tech Enterprise and Key Specialized & Sophisticated Small Giant Enterprise. Tracked mobile crushing and screening equipment is our core business. Our technical benchmarks include Metso, Sandvik, Powerscreen and Kleemann. Key parameters such as chamber profile, rotational speed and eccentricity are finalized after repeated testing. All major components are sourced from top-tier brands: Cummins or Weichai power, Stamford generator, Strickland tracks, WEG motor, SKF/FAG bearings, Danfoss hydraulics, Schneider/Siemens electrical control. Durability can be judged by its components, and we never cut corners

Ⅵ. Suitable Working Conditions & Processable Materials

Y440RS is engineered for hard rock fine crushing: granite, basalt, river pebble, iron ore, quartzite. Installed downstream of secondary cone or impact crushers, it reduces 20–80 mm feed into 5–20 mm premium aggregates, serving as the critical final crushing stage for aggregate production.
It is best suited for medium & low-output projects with strict particle shape requirements, such as premium sand & gravel plants near cities and crushing yards owned by concrete batching plants. For fine crushing of soft stone like limestone, impact crushers are more economical.
Field Case Example: A premium river pebble aggregate plant in Guangxi used to sell secondary crushed material directly. High flakiness caused frequent rejections by batching plants. After adding this CC440 short-head cone behind secondary crushing, with closed side setting set at 18 mm, the finished 5–20 mm aggregates feature cubical shape and flakiness controlled below 10%. The batching plant accepts the material at premium rates. When liner replacement is needed, the hydraulic lock system enables quick disassembly; replacement can be finished within 2–3 hours without disrupting next-day production.

Ⅷ. Delivery Scope & After-sales Support
Delivery package includes complete machine, operation manuals, special tools and one-year wear part package. Our engineers will attend site to assist positioning, connect with downstream screening equipment, adjust closed side setting and train operators. We will also teach your workforce liner replacement procedures for short-head cones.
We maintain substantial investment in after-sales service: 8 domestic service stations, a 40-person engineering team and 5 spare parts warehouses. We promise 30-minute response, on-site support within 24 hours and 7×24-hour online service. Standard models can be delivered within one week, with a one-year supply package of consumable wear parts included. Our equipment has been sold to more than 100 countries; overseas revenue accounted for over half of total revenue in 2025, and our service network expands alongside global orders.
Premium aggregate production is heavily tested at the fine crushing stage. Although short-head cone crushers look smaller than secondary cones, their long parallel crushing zone and fine closed side setting deliver superior particle shape. Even for this compact model, we adopt top-grade bearings and hydraulic components, with no downgraded configurations. Pair a secondary crusher with this short-head fine cone on your site. Finished aggregates can be directly delivered to batching plants without rework, saving considerable reprocessing costs annually.
